Delicious natural honey, thick but not set
- From the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset
- Raw, unprocessed local honey
This is a truly exceptional honey from the beautiful Isle of Purbeck on the southeastern tip of Dorset. It's thick, but not set, and we think you'll love it.
The bees have foraged on many different types of flowers over the summer months to produce this special honey. And those flowers have been growing mainly in fields and wild spaces as well as as few people's gardens.
Taste, texture and appearance
The best way to describe the consistency of this gorgeous honey is 'creamy'. It's thick, but has not set, and we expect that the sugars in this honey will soon start the crystallisation process that will cause it to set.
The taste is that of a traditional summer honey made the old fashioned way. It's super sweet, rich and long-lasting. Its colour is light gold.
Each jar holds 45g.
Why do we call it natural raw honey?
Our honey has nothing added and nothing taken away. There's no added sugar or water, just 100% pure honey.
The goodness is preserved because it's not been pasteurised, and it's not microfiltered either, so pollen grains are present which may make it more beneficial for you.
