Bees For Good

Bees for Good

With the cost of living crisis hitting hard, local food banks are an important part of the communities we live in. With more and more people relying on food banks, New Forest & District Beekeepers Association (NFDBKA) has come up with a great idea to help make a difference and we at Honey’s Honey are delighted to get involved.

‘Bees for Good’ is a new initiative from NFDBKA to donate local honey to local food banks. Honey from the New Forest is some of the best in the country and it’s nutritious, delicious and healthy. And like all honey, it can also help put a smile on people's faces.

The first batch of honey has been delivered to the New Forest Basics Bank in Lymington and to The Trussell Trust’s Ringwood food bank. Both received a generous donation of New Forest Honey, extracted from NFDBKA’s apiary, and New Forest Honey donated by Honey’s Honey.
